Music at Second Parish
Music is much appreciated at Second Parish and is an integral part of all of our services. Our choir is part volunteer and supported by professional singers. In the early 1990s, our Wissinger organ, the first brand new instrument in the history of the church, was installed. The Wissinger organ has 17 stops, 21 ranks, and more than 1140 pipes. In addition to the organ, we have two pianos, and often enjoy the talents of special musicians.
Second Parish sponsors a Young Musicians Program in partnership with local high schools that brings students to our church periodically to perform during the worship service.
