Fundraising Events
We hold two major fundraisers each year, our Arts Festival and the Pumpkin Patch, as well as smaller efforts such as wreath-decorating and our February chocolate auction. Our events are a good chance to get to know people better while raising funds to support the church and its many outreach projects.
Second Parish Arts Festival
The Second Parish Arts Festival is held for almost two weeks in early May each year. The show features artwork from talented area artists in many mediums including oil, watercolor, pastels, and photography and fine crafts ranging from decoy miniatures and jewelry to wood carvings pottery and lots more. A junior exhibit sponsored by Mass Cultural Council showcases local student artwork, from preschool to high school. As a part of this arts festival we have an opening night for adults and an opening night for students each with refreshments and live music, an all-age appropriate concert and a wine tasting. For more information about the Arts Festival, please contact Sandi Smith at office@secondparish.org. For an application for this year's show, please click HERE.

Pumpkin Patch
In early October, our front lawn turns into a pumpkin patch. Children enjoy roaming the piles of pumpkins in search of the perfect jack-o-lantern. It's a great place for a fall photo-shoot.

Chocolate Auction
The chocolate auction is held in February before Valentine’s Day. This event is both fun raising and fundraising. Parishioners contribute chocolate items and then bid on each other’s confections. It is always good for a laugh, increased calorie intake, and good church morale.

Christmas Wreaths
In early December the women of the church decorate wreaths with all natural items such as pine cones, holly, juniper berries, different textured greens and handmade custom bows. Members, friends and neighbors order these wreaths in advance. Pick-up time is a warm and friendly holiday experience with coffee and snacks.
